Joel Peck is the Producer and Engineer here at Modern World Studio. He has spent more than 20 years in audio and film/video studios working on all types of projects. He brings a very diverse skill and experience set to the session. Technically, he not only can engineer a session he can design the studio. He has designed a number of audio and video studios utilizing and pushing the maximum out of the modern technology of the day. The technical aspect of audio/music engineering is important, because there are aspects of the process that require these skills to effectively accomplish the goals of the session.
But, this alone will not help the sound and song resonate in the heart and soul. This is were the artist makes the mark. Joel is himself a music and visual artist. He has a CD of his own music "Free The Love" and a very unconventional feature movie "World of Illusion" on DVD. He can play many instruments proficiently including; guitar, bass, percussion, synth/sampler, MIDI coding, etc. As a session player, he has performed for many projects, in most types of music. And, he has won over 27 national awards for his work for clients. He will bring his heart and soul to your session, because he can't do it any other way.
Joel is an experienced professional, who has worked in many situations with many different personalities. He will let you be you, and your work remain respectfully under your control. If you want him to produce, he will find the right way to guide the process and help mix in the magic.
